Terms of use

Version in force: 2026-08-24

Purpose

These terms govern the use of Spegit!, a versioned specification editor backed by an external code host.

Reserved for professionals

Spegit! is intended solely for professionals acting for the purposes of their business. By subscribing to a plan, you contract in that capacity and not as a consumer. The publisher offers no subscription to private individuals, and no paid plan is open to anyone acting outside their professional activity.

Account and access

An account is personal. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for acts performed from your account; two-factor authentication is offered to protect them.

Your content

Your specs remain yours and live in your repository: Spegit! keeps neither copy nor cache, except changes pending save, which cease to exist as soon as you save a version.

Availability

The service may be interrupted for maintenance. Since your content stays in your repository, an interruption does not deprive you of it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable settlement, the French courts have jurisdiction. If you are contracting as a consumer, you keep the benefit of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

Contact

Any question about this service is sent through the contact form. It keeps a record of your request on the publisher’s side, which a message sent from a mail client does not.
